We are looking for a “SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER”.

The ideal candidate for this role should have 10 years of experience. Required previous Design experience shall range from small to large development projects and from low rise to high rise buildings such as malls, towers, villas, commercial and buildings and offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and independently deliver structural design packages across all project stages (concept, schematic, detailed, and IFC).
• Set up internal design standards, workflows, and quality control procedures for the Structural Department.
• Coordinate closely with architectural and MEP teams to ensure holistic, clash-free designs.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and reports; ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and international codes.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities (e.g., Baladiya, Ashghal), and other stakeholders for design submissions and approvals.
• Provide technical support during construction phases including responding to RFIs and evaluating site conditions.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and technical discussions where structural expertise is required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design, with strong exposure to the Qatari or GCC market.
• Fully proficient in design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD. Pro, and AutoCAD/Revit Structures.
• Comprehensive understanding of QCS, ACI, BS, and Eurocode standards.
• MME (UPDA) Registration – Grade A or B required.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Profile:

• Prior experience in a lead role is highly advantageous.
• Working knowledge of BIM processes and integration

• local authorities ( Baladiya, Ashghal) : 4 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English and Arabic in advance (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• MME ( UPDA ) - Grade B or A (Preferred)
• QID with NOC (Preferred)
