Job Position: Mechanical Senior Superintendent

Job Type: Permanent

Job Location: Saudi Arabia

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or diploma along with proven experience in this field.

2. Professional Qualifications:

• Mechanical / Marine related professional qualifications or relevant time served.
• Proven experience of onboard working in mechanical section in a reputed major shipyard.

3. Competencies:

• Real and proven in depth knowledge of onboard mechanical works incl. (not exhaustive), all kinds of valves, pimps, hydraulics, deck equipment, E/R equipment and machineries, cranes, jacking gear boxes and other related activities and machineries, cranes, jacking gear boxes and other related activities in a major shipyard environment.
• Overhauling working methods and processes
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. MS suite, AutoCAD).
• Understanding of Asset Management and ERP systems, and ISO Standards.

4. Experience: At least 12 year's of experience in reputable large shipyard, and ISO Standards with proven, hands on and in depth knowledge on onboard mechanical works for ship and rig repair.

5. Shipyard or rig maintenance experience is mandatory; Candidates without this background will not be considered.
