Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of food premises in the restaurant to assess hygiene, storage, and handling practices.
• Provide guidance and training to food businesses on food safety management systems, hygiene practices, and relevant regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of food safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, investigations, and other relevant activities.
• Collect and analyze food, water, and surface samples to detect contamination or hazards.
• Issue warnings, notices, or fines for violations of food safety regulations. May also take legal action, including closure of businesses.
• Work with regulatory agencies, public health officials, and other stakeholders

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2-3 years working experience as a food safety officer
• Must have a certification which related to food safety management
• Thorough understanding of relevant food safety laws, codes, and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with food business operators, staff, and the public.
• Ability to use sampling equipment, interpret data, and utilize relevant technology.
• Must have a valid QID and transferable visa
• Can join immediately
