JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mobilization Manager who shall be responsible for the Mobilization of the CONTRACT.

a) Mobilization Manager shall be present during the mobilization of the Contract.

b) Mobilization Manager shall be under the payroll of the CONTRACTOR and shall be responsible for coordinating and managing the entire mobilization of the CONTRACT. Mobilization Manager shall ensure that all necessary resources, personnel, and equipment and work schedules are ready and available to commence the CONTRACT. Similarly at the end of the CONTRACT, shall clear all the resources from HQ.

c) Mobilization Manager shall act as the single point Contact of QatarEnergy during the mobilization phase.

d) Mobilization Manager shall be strong in verbal and written communications and shall have organizational, leadership, problem solving and decision-making skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Locally available with Valid QID
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in project mobilization, operations, or program management.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – preferred or required by some employers.
• Proven experience mobilizing large-scale contracts across multiple locations or disciplines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project planning and organizational abilities.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) – preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Budgeting and financial acumen.
• Stakeholder and client management experience.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Flexibility to travel or work on-site during critical phases of mobilization.
