Job Summary:

The Sr. Planning Engineer plays a vital role in driving project efficiency by integrating planning efforts with design, procurement, and construction teams. This role ensures accurate scheduling, seamless coordination, and proactive work-front planning to support production readiness and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead scheduling and progress measurements for projects, ensuring timely and accurate updates, with a focus on four critical projects.

• Collaborate closely with Structural and Piping Design Teams to ensure the development of accurate and production-ready drawings aligned with project schedules.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards for all projects to enable effective tracking and performance monitoring.

• Draft professional, client-focused correspondence and project communications.

• Analyze deviations between planned and actual progress; provide actionable insights and recommendations.

• Review Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) prepared by Planning Engineers before submission to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare and deliver detailed weekly and monthly project reports, highlighting key metrics, milestones, and issues.

• Develop and update 2-week and 4-week lookahead schedules in collaboration with site teams.

• Monitor project resources and update resource histograms to support effective manpower and equipment planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project scheduling and controls.

• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience in handling large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects.

• Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycles and deliverable tracking.

• Proficiency in S-Curve preparation, resource loading, and progress reporting.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
