Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract / Tender-Focused)

Salary: AED 4,000 to 8,000 per month, (based on experience).

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor with a strong foundation in pre-contract work, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation, who is eager to grow into a Tender Engineer role. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of tender submissions for civil maintenance, renovation, and small-scale contracting works, primarily for government and semi-government clients in Abu Dhabi. Prior tendering experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, BOQs, and drawings; perform accurate quantity take-offs for civil works and associated items.
• Prepare cost estimates and assist in building pricing sheets, covering materials, labor, equipment, preliminaries, and indirects.
• Coordinate with procurement to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Organize and structure data for commercial offers and tender summaries.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial offers under the guidance of the Estimation Manager or Managing Director.
• Assist in tracking government tender platforms (ADERP, MOF, SAP, Oracle-based portals).
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required.
• Maintain internal records of submitted tenders and cost history for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience as a QS in the UAE, preferably with exposure to estimation or tendering.
• Strong command of Excel and take-off tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Basic understanding of Abu Dhabi market rates and construction materials.
• Ability to read and understand BOQs, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
• Ability to read Arabic is a plus.
