Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by a Certifying Licensed Engineer, Aircraft Cabin maintenance technician and duty Supervisor
• Ensure you are fully conversant with the tasks allocated and seek guidance when needed
• Adhere to all pertinent procedures and safety precautions
• Safekeep the tool kit provided by the company
• Perform other tasks reasonably requested by the Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Cabin maintenance technician & duty Supervisor
• Carry out routine aircraft servicing tasks as required in accordance with maintenance manual procedures, observing safety procedures and manufacturer/company regulations; this may include cabin general visual inspections
• Carry out component changes as necessary as part of the troubleshooting process; use and comply with manufacturer reference manuals for removal, installation, servicing/testing procedures and to ensure correct materials
• Effectively use specialized tooling or test equipment required for checking, testing, replacement or servicing of a system or component
• Comply with airport authority regulations regarding driving and aircraft movements if required, including safe movement around aircraft on the ramp/in base and understanding road signs and markings
• Maintain tools and equipment in the workplace and conduct safe working practices at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Aircraft Maintenance as an Aircraft Cabin Mechanic, preferably in a VVIP Maintenance environment
• A formal technical qualification in basic Aircraft Maintenance
• Aviation and aircraft training courses on at least one Royal Jet operated aircraft or similar type (B737 or Global 5000)
• Experience on Royal Jet operated aircraft (B737 or Global 5000)
• Experience with VVIP Maintenance Environment
• Experience with large carrier/maintenance organization
• Solid technical background
