Join us as a Senior Teaching Assistant for our team in Cannock, supporting students to develop practical skills for life and work.

Youll help deliver hands-on activities, support personalised learning, and encourage students to build confidence and independence through real-world experiences.

We cater to students aged 11 to 19, helping them discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop essential skills for future success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, home tuition, outreach, and outdoor activities.

  • Assist with lesson preparation and delivery, focusing on behaviour management and emotional health.

  • Provide daily progress reports and identify learning barriers.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Student Support Mentor to support students and engage with parents.

  • Keep parents or caregivers regularly updated on their childs progress

Requirements

  • Is passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Has at least 2 years experience in a SEND or similar setting
  • Level 3 TA qualification
  • QTS/QTLS is a plus
